Curriculum at the nursery

All children at Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery Acton are encouraged to learn through play. Our Curriculum covers all the key areas of learning and is designed to meet the needs of individual children.

We follow the Government’s Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework which details the standards of care and learning that a nursery must deliver.  Learning is grouped into six areas:

  • Personal, social and emotional development
  • Communication, language and literacy
  • Problem solving, reasoning and numeracy
  • Knowledge and understanding of the world
  • Physical development
  • Creative development
